Lieutenant General (Ret) William G. "Jerry " Boykin was one of the original members of the US Army's Delta Force. He was privileged to ultimately command these elite warriors in combat operations. Later, Jerry Boykin commanded all the Army's Green Berets. He has participated in clandestine operations around the world. His memoir, Never Surrender: A Soldier's Journey to the Crossroads of Faith and Freedom, was released in 2008. He has also authored two novels, Danger Close and Kiloton Threat. Mark Hitchcock graduated from law school in 1984 and worked for a judge at the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals for four years. After a clear call to full-time ministry, Mark attended Dallas Theological Seminary, graduating in 1991.

Since then, he has served as senior pastor of Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma. He completed his Ph.D. at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2005 and serves there as an adjunct faculty member in the Bible Exposition Department. Miles McPherson began playing defensive back for the San Diego Chargers in 1981. Two years into his football career, McPherson was battling a drug problem and living an immoral lifestyle.
